– they measure 450mm x 750mm.

  • Multi Swim tickets ($95 for 10 swims) are purchased by EFT payments to the Club account —- BSB 015 209 453400808 – tickets delivered at training. We will be returning to our winter pools as from 1 April and pricing will be different at these pools. The tickets don’t have an expiry date and will be honoured by the club next season if you don’t use them at Marion pool this season.
  • The mesh swim bags have arrived – see Jane at the pool – we have a few still available in addition to those ordered by members – $12 each.
  • Entries for the Nationals need to be with us by 23 Feb at the latest.
  • If you haven’t renewed your 2012 membership yet the attachment should assist – any problems plse give us a call.

Note that the AGM will be held on:

  • Wednesday 14 March
  • at the Marion Community Club (opp Marion Council Chambers)
  • Counter meals will be available and the Club will run a tab at the bar for members

The Club has ordered black mesh equipment bags for purchase – cost is $12.

They will be available at Marion outdoor pool – if you would like one please let me know as I have only ordered 12 at this stage.

When we move back to Marion Aquatic and Leisure centre(Tuesday, April 3rd) for Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions (6.30pm – 8.00pm) there will be no equipment trolley.

Having relocated to Adelaide for the Tour Down Under Cycling Race, I found myself writing a vigorous training program to be completed at the nearby outdoor pool in Burnside. If I ever had to choose a pool to train in (where the bay wasn’t available), this would be my pool of choice. I am, at heart, a girl who is called regularly by the sirens to enter the sea and I crave the salty fresh smell, so I sought to find an open water swim to compete in while I was away. West Beach was the place I’d find my solace.

We are looking for volunteers to handle the registrations for the JtoJ on Australia Day.

You will need to be there 30 minutes before registrations open and the role will finish before the start of the race  – you will be able to compete.

We need about 6 more.
